Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Techlaim SIA ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Remoty App.
Email or optional feedback: Collected only if you contact us directly for support.
Anonymous Device ID and device model for analytics and troubleshooting.
Log data: Button press history, usage timestamps, and crash reports to improve reliability.
Local network information: The App scans your home network to find and connect to your TV/device. This data is processed locally on your device and is not sent to our servers.
To provide and maintain App functionality;
To diagnose and fix technical issues;
To improve user experience and add new features;
To respond to support requests.
We do not sell or rent personally identifiable information to anyone. We may share aggregated, non‑personal data with technical partners for analytics, provided it cannot be linked back to any individual user.
If any server data is stored, it resides in secure data centers.
We use industry standards (HTTPS, encryption in transit and at rest) to protect data.
The App needs the “Local Network” permission so it can discover and communicate with your TV on your home Wi-Fi.
If you deny or later disable this permission, the App will be unable to find or pair with your TV, and its core remote-control features will not function.
Disable Local Network access at any time in iOS Settings ▶ Privacy & Security ▶ Local Network. Doing so will prevent the App from connecting to your TV and most features will stop working.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Policy. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the App or by other means (e.g., email if provided). Continued use after changes shows your acceptance of the updated Policy.
